At CalAsia, for almost 10 years Bryce worked as a project estimator while also learning about architecture and engineering through practical application. During this time, he was also drafting plans for Design Build clients. In August of 2016 he was promoted to Chief Estimator and a little over a year later, he was also tasked with managing the Design Build Department concurrently.

Bryce’s accomplishments include 56% success rate of estimates going to contract, self teaching himself how to draft plans for projects that were then taken through to construction completion and creating a training program for new estimators to be able to learn the trade of estimating from scratch. As Chief Estimator he established a training program for junior estimators and mentored 3 new estimators who now excel at their jobs. Bryce set up a self qualification and peer review system to enable the estimators to continually review the work of themselves and their peers as the bids progressed prior to submitting for approval.

Bryce started at Interserv in 2019 and is an incredible asset to the mentor program. He continually seeking feedback from the field PMs and Superintendents on bids so that their input can be entered into the quality control system and the estimators can learn and expand their expertise.
